What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

 August 30th and time for another "Celebrating Mary Brown" update.  I went right down to the wire getting this block made for the 30th of the month.  Still lots of blocks left to stitch.

I also completed "Prairie Flowers".  The pattern I used was by Cheri Saffioti-Payne.  I added to the length and width by adding additional blocks.  I love the prim style shape of the flowers.  The blocks are done with needle turn applique.  I often am asked what method of applique I use.  Needle turn is my main go-to method though I do use others at times.  I ...
